I make this cut putty myself from a unique blend of ingredients that I have been experimenting with over the last year. The putty is formulated to safeguard cuts and wounds from pests and diseases while supporting faster recovery. Similar to Bonsai Cut Paste but has a much thicker consistency. Which Colour Do You Buy?

Grey Putty: Best for deciduous bonsai such as maples, oaks, or elms. It matches the grey tones of their bark.

Brown Putty: Ideal for coniferous bonsai like pines, junipers, or spruces. It blends well with the brown shades of bark.

Directions for Use:

Begin by cleaning the area around the wound on your bonsai to remove any debris or damaged tissue, ensuring a smooth surface for application. Open the 100g tub of Premium Bonsai Cut Putty and use a clean applicator or your fingers to take a small amount of putty with a wet finger. Apply an even layer over the wound, covering it thoroughly. Smooth the putty to create a seamless barrier that will protect the wound from pests and diseases. Regularly monitor the treated area to ensure the wound is healing properly. At a later date, if it has not fully rolled over, re-cut the tissue of the tree and re-apply more putty. Repeat this process until the cut has fully sealed.
